One of the great advantages of the internet is the ability it gives you to quickly find out a whole lot of information very quickly. This is especially important in the case of possible medical problems, as people such as young parents in particular can relieve their worries by quickly looking up the symptoms of their baby's complaint online.

However, one concern which many people have is the age old problem about knowing exactly what to trust on the internet, with different sites sometimes giving different, and occasionally contradictory, advice and information. This program lets you find the same information which you could find alone on many medical sites, but it does offer you the possibility of using one program for all your medical queries, rather than hopping between sites trying to find what you are looking for.

It comes with a web search button to let you look for information, and the big drawback many people may find with it is that it only works as a stand alone program as a very basic dictionary; you need to be connected to the internet to make it work as a solution or symptom finder. This is a decent piece of reference material, but the majority of computer users will probably be just as happy using the web to look for information or looking for a program which works without an internet connection.
